tired of having trains get backed up... try forcing the trains into depots before and after stations before they hit mainline to reduce traffic buildup so instead of traffic building up on rails. its built up in the depot... less trouble. all you have to do is construct it the same way you do with Main. depots on a long distance line but simpler way. just make sure its setup correctly. there is a way of doing this players already do but tis one is more advanced. You're kinda right, for some servers! My suggestion is: try server #33 (or #97) and try to make a Main line ^^

Anyway, each one manages their tracks the best way they know or want. About depots, there's several examples here and for stations here . Ofc, each situation is unique and OpenTTD is known by players creativity ^^
